About TEDxAdelaide

X=Independently Organised Event

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.

TEDxAdelaide is a non-profit initiative made possible thanks to a team of dedicated volunteers.

Like all TEDx events around the world, TEDxAdelaide is planned, organised and delivered entirely by volunteers, each managing their commitment outside of their jobs, businesses, families, and other volunteering ventures. Each member of our core team brings a variety of skills and experiences to the event – as well as great passion for connecting people to ideas and a desire to help Adelaide grow and zoom out on the world stage.
