Bryan is a young writer following his dream after a twisted journey that took him to the world of engineering and IT. Then he decided to move to marketing, but that didn’t stick either. His passion for words and quirky look at our daily lives made him write awesome short stories and even finish a novel.
What do you want to change in your lifetime?
Peoples thinking. Mix the whole world up and make it more efficient and effective. Get people back on to deep thinking instead of the pseudo thinking we seem to be doing. Valuing the long term over the short term. In writing and speech, for people to understand language is to communicate meaning. Favouring the different over the normal, the hard over the easy.
What are you passionate about?
Writing well, writing often, writing with purpose or without. Writing for a cause, to make something happen. Making people cry or laugh, smile or frown. Creating something incredible out of nothing but words. Discovering reality in it’s way, changing stereotypes and fixing false truths we seem to propagate. Learning what works, learning what doesn’t. Plain English over complicated English. Simple over complex. Oh and that email and social media are wasting our time.
Who are you in 140 characters: A plain man, writing his way to a future of truth and understanding.
That’s 72. The other 68 I’ll keep so I can fill in the rest in 50 years time.
